Thorn Custom Guitars は Ron Thorn を中心とする卓越した職人たちにより
1本1本魂を込めて作り上げられるハイエンドカスタムギターです。
もともとインレイを本職とするThorn Custom Inlay の繊細な木工技術を活かしたこのギターは、
その選び抜かれた上質な木材と、精度の高い加工と組み込み、セレクトされたパーツ類を組み合わせることで
米国内でも指折りのブティックギターメーカーとしての地位を確立しました。

2018/6/2にRon Thorn氏がFender Custom ShopのMasterbuilderとして招聘され5年が経過しました。
FENDER社を勇退して自身のブランドのギターを製作再開したようです。
